REALTOR® Community Outreach

REALTOR® Volunteer Day

REALTOR® Volunteer DayAs part of the Renew America initiative, Chicago REALTORS® come together to support the City’s communities. This year, members opted to give back to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. On June 12, 16 and 26 volunteers repacked bulk products to individual/family size, assembled boxes with assorted food, and labeled products.

Why The Greater Chicago Food Depository?

In our community outreach survey 72% of respondents chose the Greater Chicago Food Depository as the charity with which they would like to volunteer. The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago's food bank, is a non-profit food distribution and training center providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our communities. The Food Depository distributes donated and purchased food through a network of 600 food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters to 500,000 adults and children every year.
